RCT Conservatives are delighted to announce that their Chairman and previous Pontypridd parliamentary candidate, Sam Trask, has been selected to contest the vacant second seat of Llantwit Fardre on Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council.
Local resident Sam Trask comes with a wealth of experience and expertise and would make an excellent county borough councillor.
Commenting on his selection, Sam said, "I am delighted to have been selected to contest Llantwit Fardre and hopefully I will be able to help my friend and fellow Conservative, Cllr Joel James, continue to achieve record levels of investment for his ward. We took the second seat at the last local elections in 2017 by a wide margin, but I'm not going to become complacent - I am going to campaign hard and fight a positive and proactive campaign."
The county borough council by-election is scheduled to take place on Thursday 6th May, the same day as the Welsh Senedd and Police and Crime Commissioner elections, and if you would like to help out, contact: 01443 204009 or office@rctconservatives.org.uk
