RCT Conservatives were delighted to recognise and celebrate former Regional Assembly Member David Melding CBE's contribution at their Christmas Event and present him with a painting on behalf of South Wales Central's Members.

David's achievements whilst an Assembly Member were immeasurably and he is sorely missed in the chamber, but there is no doubt that he is enjoying his retirement!

David was presented on the evening with a portrait of himself in the chamber as recognition of the invaluable role he has played.
