RCT Council - Kinship Care

RCT Conservatives are delighted to announce that their Conservative colleagues on RCT Council manged to get their annual notice of motion passed last night, and it will see the County Borough not only recognise the importance of kinship care and their carers, but will also commit the local authority to investigate what greater support it can give.

Commenting on the night, RCT Conservatives Group Leader Joel James said, "This is an absolutely brilliant result and recognises the invaluable work that kinship carers do throughout the County Borough. It also commits the Council to fully investigate the role and impact of kinship care within Rhondda Cyno Taf, and how it can be better supported. I am delighted that Conservatives on Rhondda Cynon Taf County Borough Council are playing such a positive and active role in directing council policy."
